Michaela Eitan Architecture and Town Planning

Architect Michaela Eitan, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning Technion Haifa 1979, established the firm in 1983 following an open competition of the Ministry of Housing for the planning of the city of Katzrin.

The firm was in partnership with architect Michael Eitan until 1997. Over the years, the firm has gained experience and reputation in a variety of areas of architectural planning: urban design, residential buildings from single to multi-storey buildings, public buildings, office buildings and commercial centers.

Recently, the urban renewal has been at the center of the activity:

a structural renewal by NMP 38, evacuation plans for the construction and expansion of existing neighborhoods in old city centers. The office's planning approach gives priority to the integration of the project into the public sphere, and is therefore devoted to a great deal of knowledge and creative thinking to identify and develop the overlap between the entrepreneurial and public interest. Access to the environment is complex and sensitive to opportunities. We approach questions about the environment not only from the technical aspect, but also from the historical, social and economic aspects, in order to create a dialogue between past, present and future in each project. We strive for a simple design that creates wealth and flexibility in experience, innovative design but also rooted in the place.
